Instructional Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design principles, e-learning development, and multimedia content creation. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement instructional materials for various learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, training manuals, presentations, and assessments.
• Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions.
• Work with SMEs to gather content and ensure instructional accuracy.
• Develop interactive and engaging learning experiences using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
• Implement instructional strategies that enhance learner engagement and retention.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze training requirements to design customized learning solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to upload and manage training content.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or e-learning design.
• Proficiency with instructional design software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
• Experience with multimedia development, including video, graphics, and interactive content.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM-compliant content.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in gamification and microlearning strategies.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for learning experiences.
• Certification in instructional design or e-learning development (e.g., ATD, CPTD, or similar).
