Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance will oversee and ensure the quality standards of paint products across manufacturing processes. This role involves monitoring, evaluating, and improving quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and supporting the QA Manager in maintaining high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards specific to the paint industry.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to address quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with national and international paint quality standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in training staff on QA procedures and best practices.
- Support the QA Manager in strategic planning and execution of quality initiatives.
- Participate in problem-solving and corrective action implementation for quality deviations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the paint or coatings industry.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- QA certifications (ISO, HACCP, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant QA experience in paint manufacturing.
Salary:
PKR 130,000 – 160,000 per month
