Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams, budgets, and schedules effectively. The Construction Manager will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient execution.
• Supervise construction teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or OSHA certification.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction.

Work Environment

• Work is conducted on-site and in office settings, requiring travel between job sites.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and meet physical demands of site visits.
