Cost Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Lahore. The role requires a strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions and improve profitability.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and record cost information to support internal decision-making.
• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documentation, and reports.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and monitor actual vs. budgeted expenditures.
• Manage month-end closing activities including inventory valuation and COGS analysis.
• Analyze operational variances, production costs, and overhead allocations.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to optimize cost efficiency.
• Generate comprehensive costing and profitability reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation.

🧠 Requirements:

• ICMA or CMA certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks,Microsoft dynamics 365).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
