About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Deputy Production Manager to assist in overseeing daily production operations. The ideal candidate will support the Production Manager in ensuring smooth workflows, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising production activities.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of production targets.
- Maintain quality standards by implementing effective control measures.
- Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Supervise and mentor production staff to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in production or manufacturing (preferably in a deputy/assistant managerial role).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems is a plus.
