Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions and ensure the performance, safety, and efficiency of mechanical designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Create and refine mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Analysis & Testing: Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and simulations to ensure design integrity and safety.
• Prototyping & Testing: Build and evaluate prototypes, conduct performance tests, and make necessary design modifications.
• Manufacturing Support: Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Project Management: Manage engineering projects, set deadlines, and ensure deliverables are met within budget.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and specifications for production and regulatory approval.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, ISO, etc.) and safety regulations.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues, recommend solutions, and assist in system improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or a related area.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Certifications (Optional): Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is a plus.
