Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage teams while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet business objectives.
  • Optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor production staff to enhance performance.
  • Assign tasks and set performance expectations for production teams.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all products meet company and industry quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies.

Inventory & Cost Management:

  • Oversee raw material procurement and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to minimize costs and reduce waste.
  • Monitor budgets and production expenses to improve cost efficiency.

Process Improvement & Problem-Solving:

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Implement new technologies and production methodologies to enhance output.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, logistics, procurement) to align production with business needs.
  • Maintain clear communication with senior management regarding production status, challenges, and improvements.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics, performance, and operational issues.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and production planning.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong management and team-building skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address production challenges efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Work Environment:

  • Factory, warehouse, or production facility setting.
  • Requires standing, walking, and overseeing production operations for extended periods.
