Job Description:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will oversee and drive all sales activities within the assigned region across diverse industries. This role involves developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, achieving revenue goals, and building strong relationships with key clients. The RSM will also provide leadership and guidance to the sales team while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue targets and expand market share.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients across multiple industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to support sales initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Travel within the region as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and oversee sales operations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales management with 5–7 years of experience across any industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer behaviors across multiple sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Proactive, creative, and positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player with excellent intercultural competencies.
Qualification:
- MBA/BBA (Hons.) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant industry experience in sales, business development, or account management is preferred.
