Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to improve website rankings and drive organic traffic. This role requires deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and the ability to analyze performance data to enhance online visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for SEO.
    • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords.
    • Implement internal linking strategies to improve website structure and navigation.
  2. Off-Page Optimization:
    • Build high-quality backlinks through guest posts, partnerships, and other link-building strategies.
    • Monitor the health of backlinks and disavow harmful links.
  3. Technical SEO:
    • Perform website audits to identify and fix issues like broken links, duplicate content, and poor site speed.
    • Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and mobile responsiveness.
    • Ensure proper implementation of structured data (Schema markup).
  4. Content Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that targets relevant keywords.
    • Ensure content follows SEO best practices, including keyword density, relevance, and readability.
  5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO tools.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  6. Competitor Analysis:
    • Conduct competitor research to identify SEO strategies, opportunities, and weaknesses.
    • Use insights to adjust tactics and improve rankings.
  7. Stay Updated on SEO Trends:
    • Continuously monitor and adapt to changes in search engine algorithms and industry trends.
    • Attend webinars, conferences, and courses to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  8. Collaboration & Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with other digital marketing teams, including PPC, social media, and email marketing, to align strategies.
    • Help develop and execute an overall digital marketing strategy that incorporates SEO best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably with a proven track record of driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certifications: SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush Academy) are a plus.
